A: Each owner warrants and stands by the road-worthiness of the vehicle you are renting. In the unlikely event of a mishap, most owners offer 24-hour roadside assistance with the RV rental.
A: The minimum rental period is dependent on the season, and each RV Owner. Each RV listing displays the High and Low season minimums.
A: Depending on the RV, there is usually a charge for mileage over the base mileage included in the rental. The mileage information is included on the RV detail screen for each individual RV.
A: Yes, a damage deposit is required at the time of RV pick up, or sometimes in advance of pick up. The amount of the damage deposit depends on which RV is rented. The damage deposit is fully refundable, as long as the RV is returned in the same condition in which it was rented.
A: Depending on the Owner of the RV, other charges to consider are hospitality kits, kitchen kits, and/or emergency road kits. Cleaning fees will apply if the RV is not returned in the condition in which it was rented.
Generator: there will usually be a base block of generator time included in the RV rental. Additional use of generator time will be charged per hour.
Mileage: there will usually be a predetermined amount of mileage included per day (ex: 100 miles per day). Each additional mile is charged above the allotted amount (est. $.25 - $.40 per mile).
Some owners might have other optional charges such as chair, bike, grill, car seat, TV rental, etc. Fuel, Camping fees, and other travel related expenses are the responsibility of the Renter.
A: Usually, your auto insurance carrier will provide an insurance binder for the RV rental. Some RV Owners offer additional insurance to the Renter for an additional fee.
A: The RV business is similar the hotel industry. Pick up times are typically in the afternoon hours and drop off times are in the morning hours. Most Owners are flexible with the times as long as the RV is available and as long as it is arranged in advance.
A: You do not need a special driver’s license to drive a motorhome. A standard government issued driver’s license is required. The minimum age requirement to rent a motorhome is 25 years old.
A: An Owner's representative will provide an orientation checklist at the time of pick-up. Allow sufficient time (usually 1-1 ½ hours) to go over the checklist in detail.
A: Pending ownership approval, there is generally an additional fee for towing.
A: There is a 30-day cancellation policy on all rentals and full payment is due 30 days prior to pick up. There are no refunds 30 days prior to pick up. For cancellations prior to 30 days, the cancellation must be in writing and are subject to a minimum-processing fee. All monies collected are non-refundable.
A: You will receive a full orientation of the motorhome at the time of pick up, including hookup instructions. Connecting the RV to electricity, water, and sewer does not require technical expertise.
A: Class C motorhomes have a bed over the cab and drive like a van. They are usually more economical than the Class A motorhomes. Class A motorhomes look and drive more like a bus. The Class A’s usually have more interior space; however, they usually sleep less people.
Class B motorhomes are considered campervans or Euro Cruisers. These are smaller than Class C motorhomes and usually sleep 2-4 people. They have limited kitchen space and they do not have a full bathroom facility.
Trailers, 5th wheels, and pop-ups require a tow vehicle. Most owners will provide delivery for trailers and 5th wheels if the trailers will be stationary for the rental period. Trailers and 5th wheels typically have full kitchen and restroom facilities, pop-ups do not.

A: Gas mileage varies depending on the type of RV rented and the travel conditions. Most RVs will get between 7-12 miles per gallon.
A: The motorhomes will either use regular unleaded or diesel depending on the RV rented. Each RV listing will display the fuel type of fuel used on the RV detail page.
A: Kits are referred to as kitchen kits, utility kits, housekeeping kits, or convenience kits. Kitchen kits typically include dishes, pots, pans, silverware and cutlery. Housekeeping kits typically include sheets, towels, blankets, and pillows. Some owners will combine kits or offer them separately. If they are combined, they are usually referred to as utility kits or convenience kits.
A: The owner will notate whether or not pets are allowed on each RV listing. Some owners require pre-approval, and some will require a non-refundable pet fee.
A: This will depend on each individual RV. If an RV is allowed to go to Mexico, usually additional Mexican insurance is required.
A: We offer several economical one-way rental options depending on the start and destination city. Other one-way rentals are possible, however the RV needs to get back to its original location and one-way fees will apply.
A: Typically, all motor homes are self-contained. Meaning, you can park in an area without electrical hook ups and still be able to use all the functions of the motor home. Generator fees may apply. There is a limited amount of fresh water, grey water, and black water space in the tanks, so they will eventually need to be filled/emptied.
A: Campgrounds charge different fees depending on their location and what amenities are offered. Typically, prices range from $15 - $75 per night. It is advised to make reservations ahead of time to be assured a spot with hookups.
